He is the smaller of the two brothers. His fur is darker than Tom’s and is slightly thicker and just a bit harder. He has the more pointy face.
He likes to be picked up, and you can walk about for ages with him in your arms, ahhhh! He is completely different from Tom, he doesn’t love to roll over on his back and get his tummy rubbed. If you try it you’d better keep your wits about you, as he will most likely try grabbing your arm, scratching it to pieces.
In the mornings he will follow Tom into the bathroom and either sit and clean himself, or try and beat him up. This usually ends up with Tom hiding behind the washing basket or sitting on the side of the bath out of his way. Once Tom has hidden, Jerry will then go downstairs and wait just inside the living room door, for the moment when Tom follows me down and walks past him, then BANG! he pounces and they fly around the house for a few minutes.
He is a very licky cat. Whenever anyone bends down close to him, he will always lick either their hair or forehead, how sweet.
Jerry is the one who doesn’t chew on any laces or string, he just chases it until he catches it, then sits and waits for someone to move it again.....lazy puss.
He spends most of the time curled up on a bed or lap or sofa or......well you get the picture. Luckily at night he’s the one who will curl up at the end of the bed by our feet, which generally doesn’t interfere with either of us sleeping, unlike Tom the naughty night paddy puss. The not so nice part of Jerry at night is that when he’s bored and awake, he gets off the bed and sits waiting for some under the duvet and close to the edge movement, then........STRIKE! OUCH!!! He will have your toes, arms, legs or whatever he can sink his claws into.
